I have always wanted to make a fan art of the Lion King, especially of Simba (the King of my heart). But you know, when you see so many pieces of art done already, you tell yourself "well, it won't be original enough to catch someone's eye". So I left the idea aside for years, until now.
As I'll be a portrait artist in Disney World, I thought "hey! Maybe I could make portraits of my favorite animated characters!". So here is the first drawing : Simba and friends, Timon & Pumbaa.
To me, this movie is the best Disney studios ever made. It's also the first movie I've ever seen in theatre (I was 2 and a half), so I probably helps think that. And obviously, it's the one that made me want to become an animator.
