Diploma's final images (Part 3)

2 more test images for my diploma.
Not easy at all to inlay the spirit character in the second image because it was made with charcoal. But I did it!

Charcoal Fire Test

Here's a test I made, for my diploma again : a charcoal fire.
I had to see how long it'd take to make about 10 images. And it's not so long. I for sure won't make my whole diploma with this, but a part of it will do.

"Happily... Even After" poster

So today, we had what Cohl calls a "Loge" (the only exam of the year). The subject was "Tell the end of the book", and we could choose between making a poster, or a 10 seconds animation... in 8 hours.

As it was pretty obvious I couldn't make a beautiful animation in that short amount of time, I decided to make a poster using my diploma characters (even though they're not set yet). It was more a graphic test than an exam to me, so I had fun all day.
I made it in 5 hours only, and I have to admit that I like the result.

Concerning the title, I start thinking it's a good one for my diploma...

Diploma's final images (tests)

Eight final images to make for Monday. That's a lot! Especially considering that everything can change until March... But anyway, It'll be done!

Here are two of them
(I love charcoal!)

Diploma's credits

I know what you're going to say : I shouldn't be working on what should be done last. But I hate working on one thing at a time. I have to have many things going on. So... I worked on the credits of my 3 minutes animation.
As it takes place in a native american atmosphere, I had to make drawings on wood/ground.

Here are my tries.

New year, New project !

Finally, 2014 is here! And I feel like it's going to be a great year!
Well, I'll do everything for it to be a great year...

First, I want to wish you all a wonderful year filled with everything you dream of.
Like Joe Jonas said : "Stop hoping, start believing!"

Now, I think it's time for me to share my work on my diploma, which will take place next June.
I currently am working hard on it, making character designs, images and an animatic. It takes all my time but it has to be done next week. (Holidays? What is "holidays"?)
One of my resolutions for this new year is to stop complaining, because life is great no matter what. So keep smiling with me, people!

Here is my little pride : a symbolic native american totem!
The owl spirit animal is emblematic of a deep connection with wisdom and intuitive knowledge. If you have the owl as totem or power animal, you’re likely to have the ability to see what’s usually hidden to most. When the spirit of the animal guides you, you can the true reality and see beyond illusion and deceit. The owl also offers for those who have it a personal totem the inspiration and guidance necessary to deeply explore the unknown and the magic of life.

In the kingdom of spirit animals, the bear is emblematic of grounding forces and strength. This animal has been worshiped throughout time as a powerful totem, inspiring those who need it the courage to stand up against adversity. As a spirit animal in touch with the earth and the cycles of nature, it is a powerful guide to support physical and emotional healing.

When you have the deer as spirit animal, you are highly sensitive and have a strong intuition. By affinity with this animal, you have the power to deal with challenges with grace. You master the art of being both determined and gentle in your approach. The deer totem wisdom imparts those with a special connection with this animal with the ability to be vigilant, move quickly, and trust their instincts to get out the trickiest situations.

The antelope encourages reasonable behavior and advises to trust our inner abilities and strength.
